There is something about train travel that is enchanting. At least for me. I love the movement of the train, the sounds, the sights that fly past. And it is a greener alternative for travel. Perhaps I am a bit biased, because I also work with railways (long story for another day), but I do think this is one of the best ways to see the world. And if you have travelled the journey before, you can always spend the time reading a book or an interesting travel website (wink wink).
