Globetrotters

hopscotch on gray concrete

Globetrotters are defined as people who travel a lot and to various different places. People with an insatiable wanderlust, an unquenchable thirst for adventure and a passion for diverse cultures. In a world that is increasingly interconnected, the thrill of exploring multiple countries in one trip has never been more accessible or enticing. Cruises are the perfect way to do this.

So, if you are looking for an adventure without borders, you are on the right page!

If hopscotching around the globe in a single trip is not your style, be sure to browse some other travel ideas, like visiting a new country or wandering through enchanting city streets.

With so many cruise options out there, making the right choice for your requirements can be daunting. Be sure to do research about the different cruise lines and what they offer. Sites like Cruise Critic can be super useful. It’s also important to stay updated on the itineraries and routes, since availability and schedules may change on short notice. Travel agencies can help you plan, but it is always good to check with the cruise provider yourself about the most up-to-date information and your travel requirements.

Crossing the oceans

For the true globetrotters amonst us. If you want to cross the seven seas and spend days with only open water around you, this is for you.

Transatlantic Cruise: Cross the Atlantic, visiting Europe and the Americas in one journey.
  • Cunard || Transatlantic crossing from Southampton (UK) to New York (USA) onboard the Queen Mary 2 || Have a look at their 7 night Westbound crossing. They have various options ranging from direct crossings, round trips and cruises that stióp in additional ports of call.
  • Holland America Line || 14-Day Passage To America from Rome (Italy) to Fort Lauderdale (USA) onboard the Nieuw Statendam. Depending on your budget, they offer some spectacular stops on both sides of the Atlantic.
Transpacific Cruise: Cross the Pacific, visiting Oceania, Asia or the Americas.
Circumnavigation Cruise: Embark on an epic journey around the world, visiting multiple continents and regions. Don’t get me wrong, doing this in one go is probably reserved for those with their own (very successful) businesses, movie stars or people with rich great-great grandparents. If you are one of the lucky few, and you need a low maintenance travel guide, I would probably be able to make space in my schedule. For the rest of us: this can give some inspiration for shorter trips to consider.
  • Royal Caribbean Cruises offers the Ultimate World Cruise, with 4 segments broken into 17 different sailings.
  • Silversea Cruises is a high-end cruise line offereng several World Cruise options. Silversea World Cruises covers different sections of the globe and lasts about 140 days.
  • The MSC World Cruise onboard the MSC Magnifica passes 5 continents in 5 months, promising 50 amazing destinations.
